Option Group Button Help

I need some help. I have a option group button that contain two
checkbox call Active and Inactive on my Filing form. This is what I
want, the Active box will alway be the default checkbox,the Inactive
checkbox, when checked I want it to deactivate the filing form and
automatically open up a new blank filing form.

Try the following:

Open your form in design view and select the option group (the box that
surrounds the two checkboxes). Go to properties, Data tab and set the defaut
property to 1. That should make the Active box the default. Go to the Events
tab and click on the AfterUpdate event and add the following code:
If Me!NmaeOfYourOptionGroup = 2 Then
Me.DataEntry = True
Else
Me.DataEntry = False
End If
This should give you what you want without needing a blank form.
