Version issues

P: n/a
I have been developing the Front End mdb on a Win 98 PC with A2002, saving
as A2000, and deploying on Windows 2000 and XP machines all with Office
2000. All happy.

I replaced the Win 98 PC with XP Pro, but re-installed A2002 on the new
PC, still saving as A2000. Same deployment.

There are other factors that maybe could have affected it (slight chance)
- Nero is gone with the old PC, and I'm now using second-rate CD burning
software - but it looks like the version thing most likely is the cause of
the curruption. Weird thing is, it worked on the Win 2000 PC I copied it
to first, but none of the others.

Could this operating system change have caused problems? If so, what now?
(Downgrading back to Win 98 is not an option).

Is there a mix-and-match guide to Windows and Office versions in a network
environment?
