How to use a popup form to filter data on a main form?

-- Access Rookie Question--

Ok here is the situation:

I have a form called frmServices, that has three fields called SvcNo,
SvcName and SvcCity. I created a button that brings a popup form called
frmSearch. In frmSearch I have three unbound fields (SvcNoSrch,
SvcNameSrch, SvcCitySrch) that I want to use to filter data on
frmServices. I've created the command button (btnSearch) and tried many
codes but no one seems to work. Any suggestions?

U couls use a dlookup to find all the info related to (your field), or
add the criteria that you want(not sure about this one). Or use the
CTRL-F to have the "normal" MS pop-up window, put the cursor in the
fiels you want to search and hit crtl-f.

Try searching the access ng with search button.
