Is it possible to read the processor number of a PC from MS Access.

I'm not aware of any API method that would allow any Office app to get that
info directly. You might try shelling out from the Office app to one of the
Intel or shareware apps that does get at it.

Ian, I believe you can get the hard drive serial number. I've used that in
VB to make sure my software isn't being copied elsewhere. I don't know where
the program is, offhand, or I'd post the code for you. If you really need
it, send me an email and I'll try to dig it up. -- Mike
