I fall down at my knees

You're right D.

I made it all to complicated. Ignore this thread, because it was meant
to be part of that other one.

However...Setting the rowsource to "" when initializing is something I
read in a book by an author, american - Access 2000 Gold Edition or
something - seemingly it should speed up the query.

And by the way, there are some listboxes I use for several queries,
depending on the choice of the user.

Anyway, Thanks a lot for reply. It did really help me out.
