You don't mention what version you are using, but here is a on line book
with some good VBA stuff in it.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de.../acbatitle.asp

And, here is another GEM of a book, and again on line, and also with some
good chapters on VBA.

http://www.microsoft.com/accessdev/a...bapp97/toc.htm

Both the above are free for the viewing and taking...courtesy of

The topic you are asking about is too big for just a "paper", as it includes
learning all about Visual Basic, as well as the object model in Access
(forms, reports, etc), and probbably the DAO library so you can
OpenRecordset() and examine/trace/build the database schema as well.

There are several good books on the subject.

A book that I can recommend is "Access database design & programming"
by Steven Roman, published by O'Reilly.

It is an excellent "sceond book" on Access, i.e. if you know how to use
Access, it teaches you database design, as well as being one of the
best books on Access-specific VBA that I know.

(I am not affiliated with neither author nor publisher, i just liked
the book).

regards,
Elmar
