how to get SQL2k user ID passed to Access

I have an Access front end with ODBC drivers to a SQL2k box. All our
security is Wiondows-authentication on the back end, we don't use Access
security workgroups. THerefore when I try to get the userID for the
CurrentProject object (if memory serves), it returns "Admin" for every user.

Is there a way to run a query (pass-through if necessary) that will go
grab the SQL2k User and return it to Access?

TIA,

Passthrough select query:

select user

or

select system_user

depending on what you want, system_user returns the login name, user
returns the login name except for the dbo, in which case it returns
"dbo" :-)
