How to Sum totals contained in queries?

P: n/a
I have a number of queries that pull totals from different tables. How do I
sum the different total values from each query to get a grand total? I
tried using a Union query like this:

SELECT cTotal As bct FROM qryCbank1
UNION SELECT cTotal As bct FROM qryCbank2
UNION SELECT cTotal As bct FROM qryCbank3
UNION SELECT cTotal As bct FROM qryCbank4
UNION SELECT cTotal As bct FROM qryCbank5
UNION SELECT cTotal As bct FROM qryCbank6;

with the thought that I could use another query to sum the cTotals from the
Union query. But if two or more of the cTotals have the same value, the
value appears only once (I guess that's the way a Union query is supposed to
work).

Each qryCbank query is a similar::

SELECT SUM(Transactions) As cTotal FROM tblTable WHERE [criteria]

How do I use a query to get a grand total from the different sub totals in
each qryCbank query?

Thanks in advance.

Deko,
What if you used a cross-tab to total the row and your Totals from each
source were in columns?
