How can you open a form to a specific record from another form?

Hi,

Can someone tell me how I can open a form to a specific record from a
button on another form.

Here is what I want to have happen. I have one form called Computers
and another form called Monitors. One of the fields on the Computers
form is called Monitor. There is a button on the Computers form that
will open up the Monitors form.

This is what I want to have happen with this button:

When clicked, I want the Monitors form to open up to the record that
corresponds to the Monitor field on the Computers table.

Any Replies/Suggestions/Comments would be greatly appreciated.

pass the Unique ID of the monitor you want in the Open event. just use
a valid where clause...
