Access 2003 macro security

Last week I posted as follows, but no-one responded:
" I have security level 'Medium' and expression blocking set. If I set
security to 'Low', I get a dialog box which asks if I want to enable
expression evaluation. Irrespective of whether I respond 'Yes' or 'No', the
security level now shows as 'Low' and databases open thereafter without any
warning dialogs. The only operational difference is that I'm prompted to
restart Access if I choose 'Yes'. So what IS Low-level macro security?? Does
it exist in 2 flavours -- with and without expression blocking?? And if so,
how does Low with expression blocking differ from Medium??"

A little more investigation shows that it IS possible to set macro security
level to Low
whilst maintaining unsafe expression blocking. This seems a reasonable
compromise for
someone developing a small database for their own use: no irritating dialog
boxes to
dismiss when opening the database, but warnings when unsafe expressions are
used.
Mind you, #Name? is hardly an explicit warning to check your macro security
settings.
