Access book(s) for a professional developer

I need to do something in Access, and would like to get good books to get me
started.

As I am a professional C++/.NET developer, I think it would have to be
relatively "intense" compared to most Access books.

It is important for me to have small practical EXERCISES and QUIZ QUESTIONS,
about like a certification book or Mathematics Text book. I usually like
books like books like Learn .in 21 days from Sams, but the one for Access
has bad reviews on Amazon.

Another thing I like is books that provides WISDOM, these are usually not
the primary book.
(One example is the Annoyances series from O'Reilly - like Excell
Annoyanses)

Also I would like if it covers the latest technologies - i.e.. .NET instead
of VBA if it is appropriate, But this could also perhaps be a different
book.

On RELATIONAL issues like normalization, I do know the concepts, so I would
like something that really gives insight into the best way of doing things.

Thanks
Olav

The "Access Developer Handbook <version>" by Getz, Litwin et al is
very good.
