Charts Not Showing Data

I've posted on this problem before and didn't get any replies. I have
an intermittent problem where charts do not show the correct data.
Occasionally a chart will open and only show one large bar labelled
"East" similar to what one sees in the design view of the chart. If I
close the chart and reopen it, the correct data is shown. The problem
only occurs occasionally and appears to be a bug of some sort. Has
anyone else seen this behaviour and/or know of a fix?
Thanks in advance.
