Reports - Two Tables data issue

I am trying to display a records that have mutiple records in another
table. Its hard to discribe, so here is a diagram:

xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
xxxx
xxxx
xxxx

xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
xxxx
xxxx
xxxx

The field that has 4 is from table2. one or more records from table2
are related to 1 record from table1. Table1 populates the single line.
Obviously I can make it look like this, where the 4 single fields from
above are repeated for each instance of the mutiple field.
xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
Is there a way to make it look like the first? Or atleast point me in
the right direction. I am code savey, so no worries there. Thanks in
advance!!

looks like a report where you're grouping by one field and then showing
detail records... create a query to join the data in the two tables and
then base the report on that query.

Not sure what you're talking about. A guess: use the Hide Duplicates
property of the TextBoxes on the report.

Is there a way to hide duplicates just for each record. That way if
there is a feild could be the same a few records from there, it will
show.
