joining the output of 2 queries, not a union, and not a 'product' either

qryA produces

93 A 1
93 B 3
93 C 9
qryB produced

94 A 6
94 D 1

I'd like the output to be
A 1 6
B 3 0
C 9 0
D 0 1

can this be done ?

Google to find out how to create a full outer join. You need to create a
full outer join on the Letter fields in both tables. The Letter field would
then be the first field in your query. The second field would be:
Field2:NZ(QryA.NameOfNumberField,0)
The third field would be:
Field3:NZ(QryB.NameOfNumberField,0)
