There are a couple, but I've never actually done a migration with any of them.

The low-end/freebies I tested didn't survive much stresss at all.

The one high-end product I tested held up under a hundred or so forms, but I
never actually did a conversion with it.

This was a few years ago and I can't recall any names.

I should add that the it seemed to me like the primary benefit of using one of
those conversion utilities was getting the screens moved over - i.e. saving all
the manhours/tedium of aligning labels with fields and so-forth.

As far as event coding goes, it didn't look good to me. Witness MS Access's
combo box vs VB's..... totally different events, completely different code
required. Also think about MS Access queries. There's no equivalent on the
VB side.

My conclusion at the time was that cost justification would be based on the
estimated manhour savings in converting the screens. In fact, for the app I
was going to use it on, it made sense to purchase the tool....but the project
was cancelled and we never actually did it.

Do you mean that you want to convert an Access database application to a
(classic) Visual Basic database application or to a VB.NET database
application?

Unless you are compelled to do so, that is rarely a worthwhile conversion in
either a multiuser or client-server environment. And, to convert to a
web-based application is not a "conversion", but a re-write, generally.

What is it that you hope to accomplish?
