FileScriptingObject error

Hi

I am getting an error when using this simple bit of code -

Set objFileSys = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")

This is happening on only one of several computers all running the same
database. The code does not have a problem. There are no broken references.
At this stage I can't tell you the actual error code or message, just that
this is used to check for the existence of a file on opening the database
and thus stops it opening.

My question is what may be causing this particular computer to generate an
error?

They are all running Access 2000 on Windows XP.

Using this Object in your code assumes the client's PC has this library
loaded. Some installations restrict the installation of this library
because of virus-related issues.

I'd recommend avoiding use of this library. There is probably a native
VBA method to use that will eliminate the need to use this library and
reduce your support requirement.

What are you trying to do with the Scripting library?
