looking for code to copy a file from a ftp location.

Hi,

My application can show employee pictures that are on the local hard drive.
In case the picture is not there, i want to get it from my (anonymous) ftp
site.
The application should run without anny add ons.
So i am looking for some simple code to get this function working:
ftpcopy (ftp://mysite/mypicture;c:\\picturemap\mypicture)

You can use the Windows ftp client. You'll have to write your ftpcopy()
function in VBA to call the ftp client program using Shell(). Read the
Access Help article on Shell() and the Windows O/S Help article on ftp.

There are also lots of code examples on the net that use VB to implement
ftp using the WinInet library. Here's a gooder:
