Could someone please post a split function to split a string into an array
based on a separator such as comma?

Hi John,

Reasonably staright forward:

Dim Arr, TStr as string

TStr ="Here,is,the,string,separated,by,commas"
Arr = Split(Tstr,",")

This won't work with Acc97 only 2000 upwards
