application crash when i click checkbox

Hi,

My access project has a form using customer table as datasource. There
is a checkbox on the form bound to a bool column of customer table.
when I clicked on the checkbox I got an error "Microsoft Access has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience."

I'm using win2k, Access 2002 with sp3, SQL2000.

Any idea?

First make a backup copy of the file. Next, try a Compact/Repair under
Tools|Database Utilities. If that doesn't do it, try deleting the check box
from the form and creating a new check box. It may be that the check box is
corrupted.

I tried both but still has the problem. Maybe I should use unbounded
checkbox and and add on click event to it. Any idea?

thanks

Rebecca

What happens if you check/uncheck the field directly in the table? If that
works, try the query that you're using between the table and the form. If
there is no code being run by checking the checkbox, then it shouldn't crash
Access by checking it unless there is something corrupted somewhere.
