Can someone help with this combobox question?

I am trying to send a string such as this to a combobox
combobox.additem("this, is a sentence with a comma")

I just want to copy this sentence to a row in a combobox, but it is
splitting at the comma and making it two rows. I dont know why it is doing
this.

I thought that ; (semicolon) was the delimited it splits on.
what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

What version of Access are you using? I have tried it in Access 2002 and it
works as you want it to.
