Yes, there's so much to learn about Access, it it's not obvious where to
start. The help files are very useful, but only if you already know what you
are looking for.
Different people learn different ways. Personally, I learned through the
excellent manuals that were provided in the box with Access version 1. The
reference and tutorial manuals are no longer provided, so you need to buy
something like John Viescas book "Microsoft Office Access 2003" (Microsoft
Press, 2004).
If you learn better from hands on experience, you might prefer to enrol in a
course if you have something loca, or buy a video course such as those by
keystonelearning.com, e.g.:

I've been trying to find a book/manual that explains how to use Access
beyond
the most elementary level. Or is there a website that has the answers?
What do
you use? The posts I've made here are for operations that should be in the
Help
menus, but are not. I'm realizing that Access works by right clicking in
Design, choose Properties, then knowing what to do or select to get the
Object
to display what I want. But it is rarely obvious what to do or select.
Thanks.
