Setting Page numbers on copies of a report

I have a 1 page report which I want to print numerous copies of. The number
of copies will be specified by the user. My problem is that I want each
report to print the copy number of number of copies, e.g. 1 of 6. I can set
the report so the report prompts the user for the copy number and the number
of copies but this means they have to enter 1 then 6 then print, 2 then 6
print etc. How can I set it so that when the report is opened it asks for
how many copies/pages and then prints copy/page number and total copy/page
number on each page?

thanks

Look into help on FormatCount for the report.

Sorry to be so brief...limited time.

You could have a table with numbers (just numbers--see article "Range"
on my site for ideas, section How to create a range of numbers). Include
that in the query for the report, no connection. You will get the
cartesian product: all your values occur together with all numbers.
Those numbers can then serve as page numbers.

Limiting the number of (numbered!) pages to print is done by filtering
the number table.
