do I need to re-link my linked tables?

I added two columns to my database but they aren't showing up in the
description of my linked tables and they are throwing an error on my
form. Do I have to relink the tables? Anyone recognize this
behavior?

Sometimes it is necessary to relink. Give it a try and see what happens.

And, if that doesn't work, look to see if you have used a Query or an SQL
statement as RecordSource of the Form* -- if so, update it to include the
new fields.

* Right click the little square box at the upper leftmost corner of the
form, choose Properties, click the Data Tab, and look at RecordSource.
