Compact on Close

I haven't been able to find this answer in old threads. Access 2000
has an option to "Compact on Close". Is there an eqivalent in Access
97? If not, what would you suggest?
Thanks,
Hank Reed

No.
A shortcut on the user's desktop like this:
<path_to>msaccess.exe <path_to>your.mdb /compact
and the instruction to click it from time to time.
