Hi All

However, in the mean time, I use the following two settings, and then
get NO
nag prompts. (so, until I get the cert, I am using the following).

It is clean, and nice. And, until some kind of Certificate comes
along, I
going to use the following settings:

Root:
Local Machine
Key:
Local Machine Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Access\Security
Name:
level
Value
#00000001

So, the above sets the macro security for ms-access to low. (1 = low,
2 =
med, 3 = high)

Root:
Local Machine
Key:
Local Machine SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines
Name:
SandBoxMode
Value
#00000002

<snip>--------------------------------------------------------------

I can't seem to get these settings to take on Win XP SP2. Can't get
past macro to find out about SandBox.

MsgBox on install as follows:

Could not write value Level to key Local Machine
Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Access\Security. Verify you have
sufficient access to that key or contact support.

Any hints please?

Hi,

I've subsequently found:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engi nes]
"SandBoxMode"=dword:00000002

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\ Access\Security]
"Level"=dword:00000001

and ( another post from Albert )

ROOT:Local Machine
Key: SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines
Name:SandBoxMode
Value:#00000002

ROOT:Local Machine
Key: Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Access\Security
Name:Level
Value:#00000001

...with these and a few others, I might see about removing the Local
Machine prefix from Software.

Regards
