Relinking to a back-end table in code with "Full Data User" group permissions.

Rob
I need to allow a user with the default "Full Data User" permissions
on the front-end database to relink to a table in a backend to which
he has the same permissions.
(I'd like to do read, update, insert, delete, which are the DEFAULTS
for a "Full data user", but just so you know I have also added
"Administrator" for this group in front and backends, just to try and
figure out the problem and it didn't help).

Anyway I cycle through the tabledefs and when I find the correct one

The code (from memory) does something like this.

if td.Name = "TablenameImLookinFor" then

td.Connect = ";Database=" & "the new string to the backend"
td.RefreshLink

endif

This works FINE in 'unsecured' databases or if the user is in the
Admins group of these 'secured' databases.
Unfortunately, anyone in the 'Full data users' group has the code fail
on the "RefreshLink"
THe error is (again, from my memory):

Cannot create; No Modify Design Permissions on table or query
'TMP%#MAU@'

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob
