Moving/copying a record between tables

Dear All,

What is the best way to move the current record from one
table to another?
Or copy the current record, then delete it.
Thanks

Often the best way is to leave the record in the table, and just flag it as
"Deleted" or whatever by using a yes/no field.

If you do want to move it, you probably want to do so in a transaction, so
you get an all-or-nothing result. Details in article:

An Append query, then a delete query wrapped in a transaction, so if
one fails, the whole thing gets rolled back.
