VBA settings cleared from registry

I am running a 3rd party commercial access application (Access 2003 &
XP) which initially installs in demo mode then when registered the
details are kept in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program
Settings area of registry. Every time I shut down pc or log off (only
one user) the registry clears the registration info & the program
restarts in demo mode. The software supplier has told me to "establish
what process on your computer is clearing the HKCU registry settings"
as these setting normally don't get cleared when you log off/shut
down. Any help with this would be appreciated - thanks

The vendor is probably right. Unless they specifically programmed it
that way, the registry values would still be there.
You may have another app running that is involved. Perhaps a virus.

There is software out there that can monitor and report on any changes
to the registry. Check with google and you may find some.
