You would have to jump through some hoops, like accumulating your updates in
a local table, and then submitting them.
Access automatically saves the record from bound forms when (1) you move off
the record to another (2) go from the form to an embedded subform (3) close
the form or (4) explicitly save.
Unless you have truly _compelling_ reasons for doing otherwise, I advise you
get comfortable with the way Access works so you can work _with_ it, instead
of having to construct elaborate logic to work _against_ the tool you've
chosen.

Hi,
I created a form - everything works. However, after entering a value
and then hitting TAB or SPACE the value gets punched into the
corresponding table. How do I make it so that all values get punched
in together ONLY when I press a command button?
Thanks,
Max
