Syncing with remote db

Hi

We have an access db running on a windows 2003 server. The server is
connected to the internet via ADSL. I would like a windows mobile 2003 based
vb.net app to sync data from the server, ideally via gprs, from time to
time, the pda and the server have the same info. What is a good way to go
about doing the data sync between the pda and the server? Do we have to
upsize the server access db to sql server before it can sync with pda sql
server ce, or can we keep the access app as it is?

Thanks

John,
I might be missing reading your requirement, but have you looked at Terminal
Services?
Otherwise you are probably looking at Access Replication (for which I will
defer to others in this ng)

I think putting the back end data into sql sever would be a good idea here.
I am not really familiar with the embedded tools for the pda..but I am
reasonably sure that they work a lot better with sql server.....

So, you most certainly can keep the "front end"part in ms-access, but the
back end data would benefit by being on sql server in this case.
