Baffling Access problem

This is a problem I haven't experienced before...maybe you've come
across it and have an idea of what's going on. Using A97.

I closed my app last night and reopened it. The Access window was
maximized by the database window was not available. I used the
horizontal and vertical bars to find it but it just wasn't there. At
one point I slid the horizontal bar over and it just disappeared.

I created a new database and imported all of the objects. I opened
several forms to make modifications and they opened correctly. I
attempted to open another form in design mode and the Access window
resizes but the form is not displayed. I can click Window/FormName from
the menu and it looks like its activated but the window is "hidden".

Ever see anything like this?

Hi.
Ever see anything like this?
It sounds like the screen isn't repainting as it should. Do you have any of
the following code in your modules?

Application.Echo False

- or -

DoCmd.Echo False

.. . . or a macro with Echo On set to No? Newer versions of Access
automatically set Echo back on after a macro is finished, but I don't
remember if Access 97 was also automatic.

HTH.

Gunny
