Enter Key Behavior under Win2000 vs WinXP

Hi All,

I just built a database in Access XP/Win XP and am having an issue
with the enter key behavior when the database is run under Windows
2000. If you use the enter key to tab through the fields on the forms
you eventually get to the 'close' button. Under WinXP pressing enter
again once the button has focus will cause Access to initiate the code
on the On Click event. Under Win 2000 the focus moves to the top
field on the form.

Has anyone seen this type of behavior before?

TIA

I'm not seeing that behavior using Access 2003 on Win2000, but as a
workaround the spacebar should trigger the command button's click event.

Another alternative for firing the button from the keyboard would be to
include an ampsersand in the Caption of the button. For example:
&Close
would let you close the form with Alt+C.

Ctrl+F4 should also work unless it's a popup.

This is a user option, and is probably set differently on the
two PC's. Go to Options, Keyboard, "Move after enter".
