Copy field from report into table? Possible?

Hello,

What would be the code to take a calculated textbox value that is on a
report and insert that value into a table?

We have a table that we would like to use as a log of sorts... We use
reports to generate our Tuition Statements every three months and want
to copy the TuitionDue amount that is printed on that report into a
table.

The TuitionDue text box's control source is =PrintTuitionDue -- which
refers to a fairly long vb function.

Thank you

You can write VBA DAO code to write the value to the table. I'd put that
code in the Print Event of the Report Header or Footer, so will not run for
each record or group in the Report. You may have to exercise some care so
that the date isn't updated later when someone runs the report again,
depending on the calculation.
