ms access report /letter

I am creating a report / letter that automatically fills in fields from
a form when a command button is pressed on the form.....
The idea is to create a report /letter containing member address and
specific vehicle details from data displayed on form... (member can
have many vehicles and specific vehicle is selected from second tab
section (subform ?)of form

I have a form with two tab pages on it and data is required from both
sections.
First tab section has member details
Second tab section has an embedded form (subform ?) with vehicle details
and is tied to member info...

Problem :..... I can create fields for report/letter from first form
tab section ( =Trim(Forms!Form1!Firstname & " " &
Forms!Form1!SURNAME)...etc ) without any problems......
BUT can not get relevant vehicle details from second tab section
(subform - AUTOLIST_1)to display on report /letter...

Can some one put me on the correct path...????

Try:
=[Forms]![Form1]![AutoList_1].[Form]![SomeTextBox]

If that does not work, open the main form in design view.
Right-click the edge of the subform control, and choose Properties.
Check the Name property (Other tab of properties box).

The Name of the subform control can be different from its SourceObject.

The name of the tab control does not come into the reference.
If the ".Form" bit is new, see:
