page break on first letter of LastName

How do I get an Access report to start a new page when the first
letter of LastName changes?

In report design view, open the Sorting And Grouping box (view menu).

In the dialog, select the LastName field.

In the lower pane of the dialog, set these properties:
Group Header: Yes
Group On: Prefix Characters
Group Interval: 1
Close the dialog.

Right-click the new group header, and choose Properties.
On the Format tab of the Properties box, set:
Force New Page Before Section
