Report generates incorrect results after first time

P: n/a
Hi,

I'm an Access newbie and I'm trying to create a simple report binded
to a query
which is:

SELECT survey.q0_sex AS Gender, Count(survey.q0_sex) AS [Count]
FROM survey
WHERE q0_sex<>""
GROUP BY survey.q0_sex;

Results are:

Gender Count
Female 22
Male 32
The report returns these correct values on the first time the report
is run. However, if I subsequently go to Design mode and come back to
Layout preview,
I receive the following incorrect results:

Gender: Female
Count:5

Gender: Male
Count:5

The Gender and Count fields have been placed in the detail section of
the report. Any help would be much appreciated as I have been stuck on
this for quite a while now.
