POS printers (point of sale)

I want to hook up a roll printer to access 2002 to create receipts for
certain transactions in the database. Does anyone know if this is possible.
If so, is it hard to get the printer to work. I know those printers don't
print graphics and I will have to stay with printing text and numbers. Any
ideas or problems I should be aware of?
Thanks

This sounds like a Windows problem rather than an Access-specific issue.
You might get better answers in a Windows support newsgroup, or from the
printer manufacturers.

Windows does support text-only printers and the drivers are supplied on
the Windows disk. I can't foresee any problems except possibly the
continuous paper-feed, you may have problems with report heights. You
may need to set the paper height to precisely the height of one line of
print. I think that would work.
