TREEVIEW: Won't show record set data that is copy/pasted

I have a treeview control which populates from a table in a database.
Some nodes in the control contain long discription blocks and I have
broken them up using a word wrap function I wrote. The problem is
that when I cut and paste data from certain word files it will show up
in my table but not in the treeview. If i add any text to this data
it will show up. If I delete what i added, it will go away. I'm
wondering if there is any inherent properties dealing with copy/paste
that could be causing this to happen. Since this app is distributed i
cannot go with a solution such as adding a space and a period to each
description and I cannot refuse copy and paste. Let me know what you
can come up with or what additional information you may need.

I'm using Access 2000 format on Access 2000, 2002, and 2003. Word
files are both 2002 and 2000. Haven't noticed the version making a
difference. Thanks.
