Access importing from oracle

P: n/a
I have a simple access database that I run as a scheduled task that
simply does the following.

Runs queries that pull data from a specific table in oracle and dumps
into a table in Access.

Then exports the data into a text file on a network location that a
third party software imports to keep updated with records from our
central database.

I inherited this system and it is probably not the best way to do
things.

Anyway here is the problem I have. I want this to run unattended as a
task, however it prompts for the password. I have saved and resaved
the password into the connection string of the query but still it
prompts for the password.

Connection string is as below with sensitive info hidden.

ODBC;DRIVER={Microsoft ODBC for
Oracle};UID=user;PWD=password;SERVER=server;

However when run it still prompts for a password, it works manually
when I put the password in but I need to automate this. Any ideas on
how to change this? Or what I should be checking?
