Automatically populate foreign key in query?

P: n/a
I have a query that contains the InvoiceDetailsID (autonumber), InvoiceID,
PaymentDate, and PaymentAmount.
I have captured the InvoiceID in code and have made it available via the
function InvoiceIDFx().

As an example, for InvoiceID 977, suppose there is already an entry of
6/8/04 and $1200 for PaymentDate and
PaymentAmount. When I open the query it would be nice to have the 977
inserted into the query for the next
PaymentDate and PaymentAmount as follows:

InvoiceDetailsID InvoiceID PaymentDate PaymentAmount
1005 977 6/8/04
$1200
1006 977

Is this possible?
