** MS Access support in Unix ? **

Is there any way to setup a datasource to a MS Access .mdb file in
UNIX (Linux or FreeBSD)? If so, what program allows this and where
can I find it?

THanks,

There are ODBC drivers available I think but I don't know much about them except they
will require that the Access MDB reside on a Windows platform along with the Jet
DLLs.

For read only access MDB Tools is a set of libraries and utilities to facilitate
exporting data from MS Access databases (mdb files) without using the Microsoft DLLs.
In other words they are reverse engineering the layout of the MDB file.

You could check http://www.unixodbc.org/ as one possible solution.
