Error 3197: Deadlock?

P: n/a
"The MS Jet DB engine stopped the process because you and another are
attempting to change the same data at the same time."

Sounds like a deadlock notification to me.

Have I got it right?

This is more of a corrupted memo field. Or so it seems.

There is one exception. ACC2000: "The Microsoft Jet Database Engine Stopped the
Process" Error Message When You Try to Delete a Record
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318882
This problem occurs if fields with a bit data type in the SQL Server-based database
have been left blank.
