Thanks David, but those details are revised in A2K+ each time you
compact, i.e. the creation date and modified date is your last compact
date. In A97 and prior those dates are not changed by compaction, and
thus useful.
Some other poster in ng explained the why of this i.e. how access now
saves objects, I was just wondering if anyone had come up with a work
around or could tell me how to capture Access events at design time,
i.e. Form | Save
