MS Access 2002 replication problem

YL
When i'm trying to synchronize one of the replica with disain-master it
fails with message that the field is too small to accept the amount of data
I am attempting to add...what does that mean?

Has anybody ever seen this problem?

YL,
It means exactly what it says. Likely causes are: 1. A column in a table
that had its width narrowed in the design master and data in one or more
replicas that now will not fit in the narrower width. 2. A value in a
replica that is too wide for the recipient column in the destination design
master or replica. Fixes: 1. Widen the column in the design master, if
possible. 2. Use MAX(LEN(COLUMN_NAME)) AS MAX_WIDTH in a select statement
for each column in any table where this might be an issue to find the
over-long value and truncate it so the value will fit. Of the two fixes,
widening the column would be the better choice.
