Cant Get a Date Field to return correct date?

P: n/a
Right i have tried but failed!
I have a Form and a subform

Fields in Sub form are:-

Planned - Checkbox
Unplanned - Checkbox
Maint Type - Dropdown selection
Date Done
Description
Performed By
cost
Next Due
Completed - Checkbox

Fields in Main form are:-
Asset ID
Serial num
Description
Totalcost
Then i have four groups of Maintenance types
Pressure Test - with a Yes and No selection (Yes property = 36 No =0)
NDT Test- with a Yes and No selection.

Basically I want the Next due date field to look at the maintenance
type Eg. "Pressure Test" and the date done and add 36 and give me a
date in the future 36 months from date last done. Is this possible??
Please help it's the last piece of my puzzle.

place an unbound text box on your form and set the control source to:

=DateAdd("yyyy",3,[myDateField])

This will display the date 3 years (36 months) from the date in your date
field.
