button to import .xls to access

P: n/a
I wanted to have a control button that I can use to replace the import
wizard in Access 2000. What I want to do is click the button which
will initiate the import wizard in the "find file to import" box. The
file name to import is the only thing I need to have the ability to
change. The import file will always use header rows as field names,
and will always add to the same existing table. It should just be:

A) click button
B) specify import file
C) click "import" button (on the "find file to import" box)to finish
the process.

Any ideas?

Thanks-

Scott

Scott,
easiest thing to do is use this to assign the user-selected filename
to a variable and then do your thing with it...
