Print MS Word Merge Document from Access?

P: n/a
I have a MS Word Merge letter that is based on a query. I set up a
macro to run the query and then open Word and the merge letter. Word
open fine but it can't find the letter. I used RunAPP and put the
following in the cammand line box.

[Path to word]\Winword.exe [path to document]\Documentname.doc

Any help greatly appreciated as always..

Thanks for the reply. I checked out the utility but it requires
redoing all the merge letters. Is it not possible to just open Word
and then have word open the Merge document?

Shyguy,
The way I wrote this in the past is to instantiate Word and have my instance
of word open the merge doc and run the merge. You can use VBA to launch
other applications in the MS Office suite and have the other application do
stuff for you. You have to ensure you have a reference to the type library
for Word included in your VB project and you have to be comfortable with the
dialect of VB that Word uses but the rest is fairly straightforward.
