I use MS ACCESS front end back end design. Multiple computers. There
is a form that uses a table for calculation purposes. When ever the
table is open on one computer, the form does not work anywhere else(MS
access freezes). When the table is closed, MS Access unfreezes and the
form works. I'm not sure how to fix this.

Thanks

I have a frond end back end. The table has to be shared inbetween
users since the users update it from time to time. So I guess I have
to find a way to make a snapshot of the table each time the user wants
to view it...

It sounds as if you don't have the front-end on each user's PC. Also,
if the table is used by each user to complete the calculation, then that
table should be a local table. IOW, it should be in each user's front
end.

Hello
I doubt that it is correct. My users view background table including
calculated fields, they edit data (including calculations) and all
these actions do not cause any freezing. I think the problem is with
network. "Enterprise", what network do you use?
Regards.
