Aligning Form/Report Controls in Access 2003

Hello,
I have ‘Snap to Grid' turned off when I am working in the Design View
of either a form or report. However, it only seems to be off when I
use the mouse. If I try to move controls with CTRL/Arrow keys, the
controls snap to the grid again. This makes lining up controls very
difficult.

What can I do so that the controls don't snap to the grid when I use
the keyboard to move them?

Thank you for your help!

I don't think Access lets you specify a Nudge value for each press of the
keyboard arrow.

To get digitally precise alignment of your controls, run the mouse through
the ones you want to line up (to select them), and then type a value into
the Properties box for the Left or Top property. That's really the only way
to get the right results when you ask Access to auto-order the tab order
(Tab Order on View menu.)

I've found selecting the controls I want to align, then using Format - Align
very useful.
