Procedure exits prematurely

P: n/a
I've been fighting a problem with A2K for weeks now and am absolutely
stumped. I have a procedure that is called from the Activate event of a
form. The procedure creates a couple of recordsets, then iterates through
them with a While loop. Inside the loop another recordset is created then
closed.

The problem is that the procedure exits without finishing. It only happens
occasionally but has become a major problem. I have an error handler in the
procedure, no error gets generated. There is no Exit sub inside the While
loop.

How is it possible for the procedure to exit without generating an error?
Has anyone else ever heard of this happening? Anyone have a suggestion?

Help, I'm desperate!

Perhaps you have some kind of corruption. A /decompile may be in
order.

If you purposely generate an error:
if lngRecCount> 10 then debug.print 1/0
does the error handler fire?
